VietNamNet Bridge – The first ever international parachuting festival in Vietnam, the Skydive Boogie Nha Trang 2008, took place in the central coastal city of Nha Trang on March 1-6.
The festival drew 160 professional parachutists, who are members of the International Parachuting Commission, from Vietnam and another 15 countries world wide.
The week-long festival is co-organised by the provincial People’s Committee, the International Parachuting Commission and Vung Tau International Tourism Company.
It is one of initial activities aiming at helping Nha Trang become well-prepared for a large number of other cultural, sporting and tourism events scheduled to take place in 2008.
